    Harmony Borax

    Borax – salt minerals – were deposited in ancient lake beds that uplifted and eroded into yellow Furnace Creek Badlands. Water dissolved the borates and carried them to the Death Valley floor, where they crystalized as borax.

Rememberable Moments

  • Wondaree Farm, Australia. The nuts fall naturally from the tree, green in colour and are harvested between April and September, scooped off the ground by pinwheel harvesters.
